We collect data on board rolling stock. This way we determine the condition of these assets and predict what maintenance is needed when.

With on-board data capture and monitoring we contribute to the optimal availability of rolling stock. We equip locomotives and wagons of trains, trams and metros with sensors. These sensors record the behaviour of assets that are susceptible to maintenance, such as drives, motors, air conditioning, lighting and doors. By analysing this data, we help you, as customer, have your vehicles operate as reliably as possible. 

Preventive maintenance

Data helps explain and predict defects and wear. This way you do not need to wait for a defect to result in a malfunction, instead you can preventively maintain components, such as batteries and diesel generators. This results in improved availability and a maximum return on assets. With double the benefits: economical for you as carrier and less delays for passengers.

Predictive maintenance

The data we collect comes from an increasing number of sources. A key source is formed by the sensors that record the current condition of the assets. But we also combine non-conformance alerts with GPS data, to acquire even greater insight. By regularly reading and analysing this data, we can also predict and schedule the fixed maintenance cycles better. 

More efficient maintenance

The collection, analysis and use of data is consistent with the trend of developing smart maintenance. Due to predictive maintenance, workshops are better equipped for incoming equipment. We design the process more efficiently and that saves on costs. The equipment can be used more effectively because less of it needs to be on standby. This increases its deployability
