Sustainability and operations hand in hand at Pivot Park
Thinking in terms of output based on transparency as key rule of the game.
Thinking in terms of output based on transparency as key rule of the game. At the scientific campus Pivot Park in Oss, sustainability and operations go hand in hand.
An important transformation in the strategy of Pivot Park is the conversion of the existing real estate from single user to multi-tenant. Here it is vitally important for the business case that, besides increasing the occupancy, the energy consumption of Pivot Park is significantly reduced.
Strukton Worksphere made an impression with the PULSE platform, which makes building data accessible to the client. To make a competitive service contribution compared with other scientific campuses, Pivot Park needs insight into that data, divided according to building, so that the focus can be on energy savings and efficient management and maintenance.
Sustainability and smart innovations
The first innovative technical installations, combined with various other quick wins defined by the Worksphere energy consultants, resulted in a 55-percent reduction in gas consumption in one of the buildings which covered 10,000 m2. At the same time, investments are being made in smart innovations in the buildings. Ultimately, it's about enabling us to proactively, and above all predictively, move towards sustainable management of the campus.
